Finally, I read a politician taking a position proposing legislation that really supports the AMERICAN people.

I really have mixed feelings with the concept of professional politicians. I can see great value in longer service contributing to the ability to enact legislation as well as serving local constituents. I also think that a shoestring budget and pay makes service in the legislative process virtually impossible for all but the more affluent. Obviously, the reverse side of the coin is self explanatory and well documented. Candidly, I don't see a solution to those competing sides of the government service coin. Troubling.
