I miss the days of Brees and Orton. Really happy to have Carsen and Spike joining the basketball team this year with Basil coming back. Nice to have basketball to look forward to. Here's to hoping Painter is sealing some deals this weekend watching the 2017 class.

Boiler up!

I'm thinking of just ignoring football - too many years of this. I think maybe I'll do a health & fitness push the next couple months instead to keep my mind off it.

52 days until the first basketball game, hosting Southern Indiana

65 days until Villanova

Boiler Up!

Our football team is sickening. Far past embarrassing. The New AD has a chance to show he cares ... or does not care ... there is no longer any question. Something must be done now to show that Purdue University cares. If not ....

Why punaj, why??? :)

I tried for about a quarter and just gave up and went out in the garage to monkey around. That is just pathetic. I probably won't watch another minute the rest of the season. Please get here November!

But the football season is still going on in Nov. Just say'in.

Not sure if anyone has noticed. Etling is 6 for 8 with 100 yards down here in Baton Rouge. Miles is on his way out after the loss last week so I guess he had to try something. He had Etling at 3rd on the depth chart at QB. The only guy on the team that could though the ball?

It was painful to watch. We are too small and too slow to compete with Cincinnati. Not knocking Cincy. They are our size in enrollment, and have been spending big on their sports, particularly football, for the last decade or more. No surprise that the bearcats are good. The surprise to me was how ineffective our team was. Surprising how small our DB's looked against their receivers, and how little we could control the line of scrimmage. The game today, and those of the previous season show the result of weak recruiting. A sad way to show the legacy of our prior football history.

Between the PU defense and the Colts defense it makes it pretty tough to enjoy any football. WTF... would you please tackle somebody.

Bad beat for the Colts yesterday.....wasted a good comeback effort. That defense on the game winning drive made Stafford look like Montana or Brees.

The AFC South may actually be an interesting division this year.

That was your first mistake, lol. Hopefully Bobinski can make a good hire after Hazell and staff are fired at the end of their season.
