I've stated my thoughts on him all year, but in fairness, I thought today he came ready to play. His defense was decent, and his shot selection was better. He made a copule of mistakes, but so did the entire team. Let's hope he can continue to perform as he did today.

Indiana played today as they should have been playing all season. Tons of talent that played as a team today, taking Smith completely out of rythem, makeing him look like a JR. High kid. Lazy play from a lot of guys, but with as with Smith, IU's plan and play took Purdue completely out of the game.

That being said, Furst needs to look for his shot and take it. We need guys ready to come off the bench and be ready. And maybe Painter needs to toss in some zone once in a while.

And going forward, my opinion only, I think he's got to get Berg in the games for more than 3 minutes. Someone has to play the paint and be effective doing it coming off the bench, and I honestly liked his hustle today other than getting beat on the dunk. And if you're getting your ass handed to you by your rival, with your starers save Loyer looking like crap, let the subs come in.

That said, I don't bitch about the refs hardly ever, but these three today who are supposed to be the cream of the crop sucked swamp water. How can Leal kick Furst in the nuts and get no call at all? And at least two of the fouls called on TKR were pathetic. And as for Leal, I wanted someone to bitch slap the taste out of his mouth. What a punk.

I would complain about the refs if we lost 73-68, but not 73-58. Can’t commit 11 2nd half turnovers and win a road game in the B1G.

I liked how Colvin played today…stripped the ball from Ballo…and passed to teammate b4 going out of bounds…which showed a lot of athleticism.

Valid point, and like I said I usually say little about the refs because if you play the way you're supposed to, the refs will make very little difference. Today, I thought they were poor.
Agreed. But other fanbases say the same about the whistle we get in Mackey.

The refs are always poor to the die hard fans who know everything. They’ve been poor for the last 50 years. So why do people still complain about them? And blame them when we lose? IU was the better team today. Rather than blaming everyone one else, give IU their props
