Well, that was an all-time performance. I mean, 41 points on 21 field goal attempts, that's crazy at any level of basketball anywhere ...

Didn't see the game and I'm sure we didn't play perfect but it sounds like a game where you just have to tip your cap to a superb effort from a top level opponent. Losing to Maryland is not going to hurt us. We need to make sure we win at Wisconsin though. Creme has us as an 8 seed in his latest brackets (think we were a 5 in his last update so that's a substantial drop) with our drop most likely to do with dropping a game to Nebraska. Can't afford another bad loss and Wisconsin has the worst record of any team left on the schedule.

Creme has Maryland has Maryland as a 3 seed, trending down? Not sure about that.

But hard to disagree about Purdue right now, at the 8. I think it can safely be in the Tournament come Selection Monday if it wins four of the last seven, likely the two Wisconsin games, Michigan and Rutgers. That'd be 20 overall victories, 11 in the Big Ten, and probably a 6-8 seed. And winning at Iowa and/or Nebraska isn't out of the question.

But can't afford a bad loss, like Wisconsin would be.
