If it's true Haarms can shoot the 3 as well as Battey, imagine a lineup of C. Edwards, Mathias, V. Edwards, Battey & Haarms in the future... All capable outside threats.

Geez...now I'm starting to sound like that Gilligan guy from the national board lol

Please don't be like Gilligan on the big board, complete idiot.

Matt Haarms and Sterling Manley are visiting as well according to Twitter.
It sounds like Manley is "blowing up". I think that Painter can sell Purdue as a good option for centers because of the way that JJ, Hammons, and Haas have been used. It would be nice to get the ball rolling with a big man commitment.

Manley would be a solid addition to this team. His offers are impressive so far. I see him having the potential to be an All-B1G type player at some point during his career based off his highlight tape and personal talk from an AAU buddy of mine.

Saw Baird RT that Pete Nance (2018) visited yesterday. Larry's son? Hopefully he got some of his athleticism.

What's the word on him?

Please....don't drink a lot after the game. Do it before you walk in. You'll then be sober enough to drive home after dinner and the game won't look nearly as bad.

Well, just got home and had a wonderful day. I did what you said even though I didn't know you suggested it at the time and was wasted when I entered the arena. Or maybe that is stadium. Can't really tell because those Dukies call their place a stadium. But the way I feel, who cares! I don't remember anything about a game. Is there a score somewhere? I remember the sun was out, but it wasn't too hot. Nice to see the sun. He keeps down depression. I hope I didn't make it on TV.

Battey (2017) and Haarms (2017) and Nance (2018) on officials, Manley (2017) and Thompson (PJ's brother) on unofficial....

To me, haarms is a project but a project that I would love to see us get. With that size length and shooting ability, he could end up in the NBA someday. Since we have so many scholarships available in the next two classes, I think we can afford to take a gamble on a high upside guy like haarms.

I was at Spartan stadium yesterday and walked in with a group of recruiting visitors for Sparty. I don't know enough to recognize anyone but I was told one of them was Tillman. They were getting major love from the crowd.

I agree. Once he adds some strength and builds up his body, he looks like a player with great potential. Having a 5 who is a legit threat from 3 is very appealing as it can open up the lane for drives. I can imagine him complimenting a player like Battey who can post up from the 4, not to mention a driver like Carsen Edwards. Having a redshirt year to go against Haas and bulk up would be great for him.

It couldn't have been Tillman. He was last weekend and is currently at Marquette. Eastern and Jackson were schedule for officials though. Jackson is already committed.

So Tillman missed Sparty's 30-6 home shellacking against Wisconsin. Had he come here, he would have seen our football team conquer Nevada. Did the excitement in our stadium eclipse MSU's?

I love PU but we have work to do. Badmouthing Izzo, Crean or whoever our Darth-Vader-du-jour might be is no substitute for us making ourselves better.

I am not a doomsayer. We have done it before. Let's do it again.

What crowd? We packed Ross Ade — Griese, Phipps, Keyes -- when I was growing up. Herrman, Alstott, Everett ... fun to watch. Nice talents. Brees, teammates and Tiller's "basketball on grass" had my heart in my throat half the time, but turned out transcendent.

As I said, we have done it. Painter has turned it around the last couple years and I still haven't given up on our '17 class.

But I've never been big on apologies or complacency. I hope our new AD brings new vision. Let's do it.

Has anybody heard how the visits went? I haven't seen much in Twotter other than Isiah posting that he had a good visit. We can't miss on PJ's brother!! Good to start now and don't let up.

Per Brian, Haarms was offered this weekend. It would not surprise me at all if he was Purdue's first commitment.
