Everything was impressive except the actual game, which, matters to some guys (and matters a lot), but, does not to others...hopefully it is the latter in this case.

Hard to believe Carr would come away impressed by what he saw certainly. Again, hopefully he is someone not hung up on the game or result of it either.
If they change their mind about committing because of the outcome of one game then I don’t think that they really were that interested anyways. I mean with Carr he is down to Purdue and Georgia. Georgia has been who they are for a long time and Purdue is trying to come up from the depths for a while. I seriously doubt the outcome of this game is going to sway him.

Fair point...and I guess I was not trying to say that the outcome of just one game would sway him...but, when he watches Georgia on his visit, I am just guessing that they did not lay a complete egg...that, it was as good or better of an environment, and, that the game itself was a good game, with them showing how they would be able to use/showcase him.

There is a lot that goes into the decision(s) though certainly, or, at least should...but, I am pretty confident that what happened last night on the field is not anything that helped in his recruitment.

Joe Strickland 2022 4* DE from Indianapolis was at Purdue. Has his Purdue offer pinned and said he had a great visit. Would be nice to lock somebody like that in early like with GK. Really helps recruiting.

Saw him and his parents as he was entering the stadium at the SE corner of the stadium. Had a brief chat with his father and he is appreciative of the support for his son from Purdue! :)

Brohm has most likely been selling them on the opportunity to come in, change a program, and help take the next step. It should be no surprise to anybody when we drop a couple stinkers.

The atmosphere was great until the game got out of hand. Great crowd. Easy to spin it and tell recruits, "now imagine what it will be like when your class comes through."

All about the angle.
