Is disappearing again. Terrible first half and very poor game for someone who has aspirations for the NBA. He is a long way from that.

No doubt he has regressed from last year.......teams aren't even focusing on him this year!

Let's hope Vince can come back and do better. We are only going to go as far as he can take us. He may not be the most important player on the team, but we aren't getting to the second weekend of the tournament unless Vince is ready to play and play well. That's the way I see it! We can go from good to great, but it is up to him more than any other player in my opinion.

Then he should have not been in there so much. He hurt us more than helped us. Haas had 11 pts in 13 minutes. We needed his size. Sit Vince more and put Haas in there with Biggie. Haas--11 minutes----thats crazy. Look in the mirror for the moron.
.
don't pay attention to Schmeckelmeat. He's a troll.

He has zero chance of playing in the NBA, and I am certain THAT was the feedback that he received. He is average at best offensively...and he is not even close to that defensively.

They can go from good to pretty good if that happens. For a team to be great, they either have to have some top-shelf talent (say at least 2 legit NBA prospects: this team may or may not have that) or a top-shelf coach/coaching staff (they definitely don't have that).

Agreed on the coaching, but they definitely do not have 2 NBA prospects. Only Biggie, the only 5 star recruit Painter has ever landed. CE can end up as a nice college player, but he isn't an NBA prospect.

I think CE has the potential to be an NBA 1, if he works on it. He has the natural abilities (speed/quickness) and skills (can get to the rim at will: has naturally very quick shot-release. He will have to improve his passing, especially in the halfcourt, and learn to SLOW DOWN and keep the ball out on the perimeter ON OCCASION) in place to work his way into being an NBA 1.

I also think Haas is capable of being on an NBA regular-season roster (a la Hammons).

Vince has had just one game where he scored 20 points or more this season (20 vs. Notre Dame). He had three last season (24 at Minnesota, 20 at Nebraska, 24 vs. Arkansas-Little Rock) and two his freshman season (career-high 26 vs. IUPUI, 25 vs. BYU).

Part of this might be due to Swanigan's improvement this season (also Haas generally having more PT) but it seems like he's just not quite as confident shooting from mid-range and the perimeter this season (even though his shooting numbers are similar to his numbers last season).

Also don't forget the addition of CE as he has been a pleasant offensive surprise. Vince I think is better when he is aggressive to the rim, but that is just me.

I like VE but he doesn't have a very good motor. Too nonchalant and can't figure out what to do with his mouthpiece. He has some ability, but not enough to get him anywhere if he can't turn the juice on and keep it on.
