I know he's off to a slow start, but he is still our best player. He will show it by the end of the year.

He came on strong at the end of last year, so I expect he will do the same this year, but hopefully sooner rather than later! I would love it if he comes back for his senior year next year!
I'm betting Vincent will get out of whatever "funk" he is in if he is in one at all.....he is an extremely important member of the team. With all due respect however, IMO Caleb Swanigan is Purdue's best right now and quietly becoming the team leader/barometer. I definitely understand if people disagree.
Vince will be playing 4 years at PU. He doesn't have freaky athletic abilities. He doesn't have great size. His shooting needs to be more consistent. And he needs a big leap defensively to have a shot in the NBA.

We just matched up against two very good wings. people talk about how good hart is, but Jeremy Hollowell is excellent too. GSU's No 1 scorer, No 1 assist, No 2 rebounder - much higher ranked player than Vince coming out of high school at ESPN #42

Hollowell played with a chip on his shoulder. If you believe the rumors, he wanted to commit to Purdue out of high school to play with his cousins, Terone and Ronnie Johnson, but Painter wouldn't give him a scholarship. Watching him last night, I felt like he had something to prove.
