by Kyle Charters (how we miss him). She said we should know the outcome of tests for Tam Farquhar's knee "today or tomorrow." It does not sound good that it is taking this long. See twitter.

Per the Lafayette paper she's out for the season. Hate it for her as she had been working hard and contributing all year. Also for this team as it puts additional pressure on an already inconsistent roster. Hopefully someone (or more likely a combination of players) can step up and fill the void.

Terrible about Farquar. And once again, Harris is stripped of major big support underneath. Tho Diagne is doing better she is limited so losing Farquar is huge and will be a big factor in close games. More minutes for regulars and rotation and see if Woltman's time increases, but no lipstick on a pig for this one. Do not expect us to do much at Indiana tonight. Hope I am wrong. First time I remember Purdue WBB going into an Indiana game with little hope of winning.

I am an IU guy and I am not here to start trouble but to genuinely understand why Purdue wants to continue to chug forward with Versyp?

I had nothing but respect for the Women's team at Purdue and growing up they were the elite program in the conference. Versyp has led them to mediocrity. Now IU has become what Purdue used to be suddenly. I am not complaining but I would think Purdue would want to get back to being the top program in the conference and keeping Versyp this long will not do that.

IU had a similar issue with soccer (which is our elite olympic sports program) a decade ago and dumped the coach (Mike Freitag) who was keeping them from being elite. They got Jerry Yeagley's son in and since then they have restored as a top program.

I am not trying to rub in Purdue's issues but I genuinely do not understand why the Boilermakers don't strive to be the elite team they were with Kristi Curry through mid 2000's. You guys deserve better then this.

It's been that way for a while now imho... The IU program has been trending up and their program is now what Purdue should aspire to... How things have changed....
