Vermont (13) v. Purdue (4) Game Thread (NCAA Tournament Midwest)

IF we win tonight, what time would we play on Saturday? I'm going to the Red Wings game

This is why Haas can't play big minutes. They flat out don't know how to properly officiate him. He is punished for his size at every turn and his moves are incredibly slow so they are even more exaggerated. He hasn't played great but the reality is he gets so many awful calls against him its tough to play the way you are taught by the coaches because you are continually punished for it.

Disappointed in the D. This team shouldn't have 36 on us at half. CE in particular was bad. Let his player drive right by him on the baseline twice and left his man open for easy 3s.

Haas doesn't need to throw his head back into defender or chicken wing them but he constantly does it. Set up low, catch, turn, dunk. That's all.

I actually think the half court D has been ok. Vermont is shooting <40% FG & 35% on 3pt. Vermont is still close because they are +3 in FGA & +4 in FTA due to 5 offensive boards and +5 TO margin.

Good analysis. Take away number 3 and stop throwing weak ass post entries and things will right themselves.

37-38 % shooting is not great, we should be up ! To their credit they have very active hands. It's the NCAA - time for Boogie and Vince to drive it and then crash the board ! (versus those looping passes to our bigs)
