Figured BG week was a good time to take a closer look at Purdue's scout offense and what it does.

Sindelar is the scout team QB.

"This is my team," he said. "Scout team is my team, so I’m going to lead it just like I would any other team. We’re going to break the huddle like we’re supposed to, get up to the line, and I’m going to throw the best ball I can to the receivers that are open. Now, sometimes I get frustrated because they’ll circle who I’m supposed to throw to and I don’t like that because I’m limited to one person, and if he’s not open, then I’m throwing into quadruple coverage, and that’s not going to help me. I don’t want to get in a bad habit. I’m like, ‘Just give me two people where I can read like a high and a low.’ "

Told David Blough also has said he didn't want to follow the card every time, he said, "I don’t want to follow it either."

But he does. Mostly. Because he knows why it's important.
