I worry you are right. Smith and TKR have to play flawless to win
Heide's second half rebounding has been elite.
Maybe time to go back to heidi starting since furst has reverted to being awful again

Needed that one. Still worried about how the rest of this season goes down, but this one was big.

Each year there is a poll asking what do you expect Purdue to do this year. And each year I reply Purdue will win 20 games and make the sweet 16. And Purdue proved me right once again.
When I say 20 wins, that is the standard, the bar, the expectation, the floor! My hope is that they will win many more games!
But tonight they reached my expectations. What fans here don’t realize is how many fans of different schools wish their team could win 20 games.
We take success for granted! It’s been an awesome season. Another 20 wins! This is a happy and proud moment!

Outstanding win - high intensity - we aren’t losing against Rutgers. That last Illinois game will be huge - I’m telling ya we can still get a 3
Proud of the Boilers, at half it looked like a loss to me, UCLA passes the eye test to me. Nice 2nd half by Heide, great game by TKR and Smith. Still a flawed team but we needed this one

UCLA is a good, well coached team. They are a difficult match up for us. Great win with lots of players contributing. Ned to keep winning to try to get to the 3 seed.
They quit switching somewhere close to 11 minutes to go after having a guard defending a big at the rim
One thing about it. The big knows Purdue better than a team in the tournament, but yes more contributions by others is needed
More sag than in the past and well versed in the rotations. It was man
with more zone lean, but they still had people rather than just area.
Also - Purdue ends an eight-game skid against UCLA.

Rutgers is playing well right now. They're going to be all we can handle. They're healthy and getting scoring from guys not named Bailey and Harper. Should have won at AA last night.
Yeah, feels like we are so reliant on really two guys. But boy did those two play ridiculously well tonight. TKR looked NBA level tonight and Smith played back to his high level. We had other contributions for sure but it's a lot of pressure on two guys.
