U19

I suggested on here recently that I could see Mayer replacing Loyer in the starting lineup and people lost their minds. If this kid is a future lottery pick or even high level NBA talent, you have to get him on the floor, a lot..
My wife 100% agrees with you. I am not sure if that is the route I would take unless its obvious. OM would need to be able pass Loyer in production and play as smart as he does. Some hate the term Basketball IQ but Loyer has proven he has a lot of it. We will all find out together and I am looking forward to it.

Now granted, I realized OM hasn't stepped foot on a D1 floor yet, but it's not like he's a freshman coming out of some rural league in the Indiana country side. He's been playing against men for a while.
I see him as a stronger Fletch with better handles, better dribble/drive game and a solid outside jumper.

I mean, you have if you think Painter's ever not starting Loyer. But if the argument is he might play fewer minutes if Mayer is as good as advertised (and Benter too) then yeah math probably requires it.

People here get really sensitive over loyer. He’s a good player but isn’t irreplaceable. Mayer looks good, no idea how he’ll perform at the d1 level though.

Yeah, there will be those days!

But this jumper still looks smooooth:

Sometimes that sniping reminds me of......

I'm not going to say anything more.....

Against Cameroon on Tuesday:
Mayer had:
33 points
5 boards
7 assists
12-26 FG
5-12 3P
4-5 FT

We can't afford to keep him off the floor at Purdue.

Also, I'm looking to be last poster on this board. So none of you suckers post after this. LOL.
