You know with all the theories people are throwing out there, here's one from out in left field. I know you don't base career decisions on people outside your family or own interests but I think you could add Tyler Trent to the list of reasons that it would be good to stay here. I believe Brohm really cares for Tyler. It's not fake or window dressing. I know that won't change no matter where he coaches but could be another tally in our corner on top of trajectory of program, hunger of fan base and admin, Big Ten West,recruiting class, and his desire to see this rebuild through. He said he likes the challenge and "people don't know how good it is here"

Another reason he may choose to stay would be that he has NFL aspirations. If he bailed on Purdue before the rebuild is complete, he risks being labelled as being like Petrino in NFL circles. Could take years to change that perception.

No matter what happens, let's not forget what is important. What Tyler is going through is an inspiration for so many people. I know the Minnesota game did not go the way we wanted, but it was great to see Minnesota fans holding up that one sign about being #Tyler Strong. I thought that was so cool for them to do that.
