Two things lost this game

Storr and Hepburn each scored 20+ points…need better defense in the backcourt.

Hepburn was the guy that ultimately really did it. Thought Purdue did ok with Storr - held him to 8/23 (3/10) shooting.

Boilers had multiple chances to put that game away and let it get away, unfortunately.

If that's the one "glass-half-full" thing to maybe take away is that the perimeter defense overall the last two games was better, IMO.......situational stuff and offensive focus/efficiency were really off, though. And those will get you beat as evidenced today.

Braden being dinged up and in foul trouble, was the easiest target for Wisky to go after.

We had 6 straight empty possessions in the 2nd half. Defense was not the problem today.....

Up 3 under a min in regulation AND OT and still lost.

The % chance of winning in each scenario is likely over 90%... and the 10% happened twice in the same game... thats what? Like a 1% chance of overcoming two separate 3 pt deficits with less than a min to go?

And yet we have all seen this happen SO MANY TIMES
We've lost 4 games all year. How many of those had that situation?
Oh, you're just blowing smoke out your ass.
What a stunner.

Besides Smith and Edey losing their cool and the dumb passes, what in the hell was up with letting Wisconsin get those easy ass layups. Purdue made that way too easy.
