You're right. I don't care about Henry Stewart. Why should I? I've never hear of him.I appreciate you acknowledging Mr. Harry Stewart, one the last Red Tails passing away. People like the Boneman don’t care about history like this.
Even though the right wingers and the black grifters are against it but learning about the Red Tails and other key figures in black history is one of the reasons that we have Black History Month. Black History Month is how I heard of the mathematician, Katherine Johnson and the 20 or so black women computer programmers, that worked at NASA during the beginnings of the US space program.
Well you should care. You heard of him now. And show some empathy towards a person like we said earlier that was one of the last Red Tails, the Tuskegee Airmen. These young black fighter pilots faced unbelievable odds and prevailed. Maybe you will sit behind a 2 hour Hollywood movie called “Red Tails”. I highly suggest that you watch it.You're right. Death is color blind. I've not heard you lament the deaths and talents of the white soldiers or even the Japanese or Hispanics who fought, flew, captained ships. Why is that B?Well you should care. We talk about gang warfare in Chicago this. Single mothers that. I am not going to apologize for being proud of the positive accomplishments blacks in this country have done since its inception. Most of this no one has even heard of. Hence the importance of Black History Month where historical accomplishments by black folks are focused. I bring up something positive about black folks and you seem to take issue with it. I brought up the Tuskeegee Airmen this time because it was in the news currently about being removed.Death is color blind. During discussions of the confederate flag and statues/monuments I have said more than once, put racism aside for a minute. These confederate items are traitorous and why are we honoring people that killed US soldiers. Most of which were white soldiers.
I am a student of history I have watched countless documentaries, podcasts, and military movies since I was a child. “Tora, Tora, Tora” and “Midway” were some of my favorite movies. Saw the movie, “Windtalkers” about the recruitment of the Navajos joining the military to develop a code system that the Japanese could not crack. The movie was the first I heard of this and I did my own research to learn more.
The history books and documentaries are full of the stories of the US military that we all have learned since elementary school. Hardly anyone has ever talked about the roles black soldiers have done in these books in school.
You seem to forget I supported you on the Tuskegee airmen on here. I think they deserve more recognition than they got.We talk about gang warfare in Chicago this. Single mothers that. You asked the question and I answered. You seem to forget I supported you on the Tuskegee airmen on here. I think they deserve more recognition than they got.
I'll take a look at it. I'm in the middle of Band of Brothers though.Well you should care. You heard of him now. Both. Harry Stewart and the rest of the Tuskegee Airmen overcame many obstacles to become a viable fighter group in WW2.I'll take a look at it. I'm in the middle of Band of Brothers though.
But, should I be impressed by his accomplishments or because he was black?
Bone, go to WWII Wayfinder for some solid war reporting.I'll take a look at it. I'm in the middle of Band of Brothers though.

Once again, is what the Black Panther tank battalion special because what they did was heroic and their duty or because they were black? You're so fixated on race that you think any time a black person does something great, that they shouldn't be recognized for doing something great, they should be recognized first for being black. Which in a way, is pretty racist.Both. Harry Stewart and the rest of the Tuskegee Airmen overcame many obstacles to become a viable fighter group in WW2.
Speaking of the "Band of Brothers", do some research of the 761st Tank Battalion (The Black Panthers). An all black WW2 tank battalion that fought and won battles in the Battle of the Bulge. Then liberated concentration camps. I just heard about these dudes just a few years ago.
The answer is always going to be both so stop asking. Again, it's pride to acknowledge my people's positive contributions to this country despite all of the horrible odds against them. That is not racist and it is foolish of you to say so. Anyone that is into WW2 history I'm sure will appreciate the accomplishments of the 761st Battalion, the Black Panthers. Since you claim to be watching Band of Brothers, you should appreciate them as well as they were part of the Battle of the Bulge.Once again, is what the Black Panther tank battalion special because what they did was heroic and their duty or because they were black?
