Trump skips honoring WWI fallen due to light rain

So Trump is in France to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the end of WWI and part of his schedule was to visit an American military cemetary where around 2,000 American servicemen are buried. But a little rain inconvenienced him and he stayed inside where he was staying all day instead - presumably watching TV and tweeting.

While he sent others in the administration to go in his place.

Talk about "low energy". Of course, this didn't deter any other world leaders who all managed to go out still. He doesn't give an F about anyone except himself.

I'm sure none of our friends on the right will have a problem with Trump though. He loooooves the troops so much.

Just for clarification, where ever Trump stays is paid for on the Taxpayer's dime. Just like Obama's golf, Michelle's family vacations including her mama. He takes NO SALARY, donates every penny from it to charities. Obama's took everything they could get and more, and Hillary even stole the damned silverware.

Of course any trip is paid by the taxpayer. But Trump puts money in his own pocket by skipping work and going to his properties. There's no reason that he has to spend 1/3 of the days of his presidency outside the White House at a golf club or resort, other than he personally profits from it.

The one in question here involved a cross country flight for Marine One. It was deemed not worth it due the nature of these small events and the grounding of Marine One due to weather. The president made the official event, paid his respects....in the rain.

Its amazing how folks just lap this stuff up. The bad part is that in doing so all you do is feed Trump and his supporters by endorsing embellished, fact absent, "media reports". The media needs to do a better job and people need to learn how to detect biased journalism. This is another Obama arugula moment and folks around here eat it up.
