You understand that there are all sorts of laws regarding immigrants, legal and illegal. The laws include how they are to be evaluated for deportation and a process for doing so.
You just want to focus on how they are bad people... and that should some how make it OK to do whatever you want with them.
It's NOT ABOUT THEM. It's about following the law so innocent people don't get swept up too. It's about checks on an executive branch that seems to actually try to break the rules intentionally. The only other option is they're really freakin stupid.
Ok fine if they need to go we agree. If a couple got mixed up and were undocumented then why is anyone having heartburn over it? It’s up to the country they were sent to and they can sort it out.

If they come here illegally, breaking our immigration laws, you're saying now they should be afforded the protection of the laws of the country that they entered illegally?
That's what the court process is for; to determine whether/that they came into the country illegally.
Makes sense to me that we should have deportation laws and procedures, and that those should be followed.

If that's the way the laws are written. I'm not a immigration lawyer.........and I don't think anyone is arguing they should stay. Yeah, follow the law. Or change it.
Do it RIGHT. This "bull in the China shop" approach to everything is stupid and unnecessary.........but it is how trump has done his business his entire life. It appears that INNOCENT people are getting swept up. Yeah, mistakes are gonna happen and it's understandable and tolerable if the rules are being followed. But they aren't.
People with asylum court dates are being swept up and dumped in Salvadoran prisons. Some arrests are based only on tattoos the trump admin says are gang tattoos. No chance to see a lawyer. No other proof.
Is it ok with you that innocent people are being detained and even deported to prison in a foreign country? We're supposed to be the country of law and order and innocent until proven guilty.

- Grow the hell up.
- Establish some credibility by conceding points when someone with whom you disagree makes a valid one.
- Occasionally use kindness when others are treating you with respect.

Cash Patel had a stent as a back bench DOJ headquarters attorney reviewing national security applications. Not exactly, on the street. Not exactly FBI agent working high-level criminal matters. Definitely not a title 18, an arrest authority, law-enforcement officer. So that’s spot on accurate, unless you have some police handbook that lists national security attorney as “law-enforcement”.
You just can’t respond without insults or pushing back on people that at times wouldn’t even be pushing back at you! It’s always gotta be some personal upfront in your eyes, followed by a personal insult.
