There was a tweet about him listing Purdue as possibly his number one school and signing next spring. 6'10, '19 forward for Center Grove. Does anybody know anything about him or has anybody seen him play? Just curious. A couple of the other threads have turned to nothing but aruments. Thought maybe a good, clean, and noncontravercial thread could do everybody some good!

Saw him play two high school games this past season. He was alright.

His run seemed a bit awkward and he seemed a bit wirey. The videos I have seen did show decent touch around the rim though. One of those videos was him as a freshman, and he did appear better in the second video, a year later. It appears he needs to put on weight and continue to get faster and strong as most underclassmen do. I guess I just like the idea of getting early commitments. It eases up the anxiety of having a lot of time/interest invested in a player before they get scooped away.

I hope he can rebound like his dad. We could have had the 90s Pacers front court attending our games if we signed Smits son and then Davis.

Attended all but 2 of Trayce's games this year. He is a sophomore. Has some huge upside. Started as a freshman last year but was alot more aggressive this year as the season progressed. He is a legit 6'9" right now and might get taller. Played some of his better games against the more talented teams on Center Grove's schedule like North Central and Lawrence North as well. Dale is his dad but their games are somewhat different. Whereas Dale was a banger and mostly got his points off layups and putbacks, Trayce can shoot the 10 footer now and that will continue to get better. Will be fun to watch him continue to grow and hopefully Purdue will be able to stay on the leaderboard with him. Butler just offered last week and Iowa the week before. Others will follow. Another case where Purdue and Painter was the first big major to offer.

I would think there's a very good chance that Dale Davis' son will start to gain some girth if he's only a soph. I gained 40 lbs from sophomore year to freshman in college and my dad definitely is not dale davis. From the sound of it, if the likely happens he should be a good player at worst

Sounds like CMP has learned his lesson with not offering kids with NBA pedigrees!
