Perhaps this has been discussed. If a player is not playing further and decides to enter the portal now, can he verbal and/or sign at any time?
Thought I saw a list recently or an article that showed players in the portal now and a few already selected their new team (saw Illinois had a possible good get). Seems to me you are at a distinct disadvantage if you are advancing in the tourney.
And understand that if a player wanted to play for a team like Purdue they need to wait. Let’s ignore that some time college students aren’t patient or smart.
I can see a jagoff like Fizzo benefitting since they were ousted.
So when can you declare, when can you commit and when can you sign?
