Tourney Results thread...

Has Iowa ever attempted to play defense since Fran became coach? Bunch of bullfighters minus the Capotes.
his recruiting sucks, Rebraca, both of his kids, Ulis are all subs masquerading as starters, need more athletes. Lost to a better team w/ more athletes

Murray jacking 11 three point shots. The team was 7 of 27. Stats were pretty even but Auburn had 6 blocks and hit 5 more FTs. SEC better than the B1G so far.

BIG with 2 losses already & MD barely survives. NW shows up for a W due to guard play.

In all B1G looking pedestrian as per usual so far.

Looks like Big Ten will be 2-2 with Northwestern ahead late vs. Boise State (in Sacramento). Penn State plays Texas A & M in the Des Moines finale (MIDWEST Region).

Mostly comme ci, comme ca pour les conference du dix et quatre.

The Big Ten doesn't benefit from the style of play or its officiating during its conference season. Not surprising the league appears average during the Dance. I think Edey will shoot some FTs during the next few days. I was glad to se AZ go down. I'm watching Houston now and N KY is giving them everything they want. They look very beatable to a good team.

It was nice to see the B1G finally beat the SEC. Considering that all the Big Ten teams that played yesterday were in the 7-10 seed range, 3-2 is respectable.

I’m glad that one of the winners was Shrews. He’s a lot easier for me to root for than Francon and Underwood.

Some really good round of 32 games for Sat. Some of those top seeds are gonna be uncomfortable.

Can't remember the last time it happened, but I did not watch one second of college basketball yesterday. Not even highlights.
Same for me. I KNOW it's been 50 years since I've done that. I've even flown to Vegas and sat in the pit for four days. Not sure why this year. Just have other stuff happening, I guess.

Haha - yeah, hard to keep track of these days sometimes. :)

Aggies were a trendy pick - I did think they were under-seeded but ran into their own buzzsaw tonight.
I could not figure A&M out. We now live about 40 min from College Station, so went up and saw them play vs LSU and Alabama. Thought they looked really good at times but had holes. PSU had a good game plan.

I was shocked at how well PSU handled them. I figured that game as a pick em but wow.

I'm not interested, anymore, unless Purdue is playing and I have to forcibly occupy myself with something else when Purdue does play because I get too agitated. :D Given all that, I honestly don't enjoy the tournament very much. I think a single elimination tournament is kind of a crappy way to determine a basketball champion. It's dramatic (and, thus, popular even with those who don't normally pay attention) and gamblers love it, so it makes a ton of money and it will never change.
