I am glad I've lived long enough to experience this. It is truly euphoric.
For those of us beginning to creep into the chronologically challenged age bracket please enjoy the ride with every single play… What a gift we have been given!!!
After more than half a century of watching Purdue sports and thinking “well, there’s next year” it does kind of feel like “the year”. No matter how this season ends, it’s been VERY special. And I’ll be back next year, too. Right now I’m enjoying the ride!
No matter how the crapshoot goes, the unity, the self sacrifice, the togetherness of this team to play hard..to play smart adn give it their all has been very enjoyable. I want for them...not for me, to be aptly rewarded, as my reward is just watching this team and pulling for them...and the coaching staff that spends countless hours doing what few understand behind the scenes to help grow this team.
good thread here, as I creep towards 67 in March, I have been thinking of what an unexpected joy it to watch a team like this. Thanks for the effort guys

We have earned this as a fanbase- ENJOY IT—regardless of how some may think it could turn out!
This is really feeling like a special team. Getting better each game and adjusting to whatever the opponent throws at them. Efficient on offense and surgically stingy on defense. Cool, calm and collected. Deep bench with starter talent.

I think we all saw very early on that this was a very good TEAM. It is really incredible how savvy and talented these young guys have played. This has been a very enjoyable season to watch. They have certainly exceeded my expectations going into the season. Now, let’s hope they can keep it going, get a little good fortune and really have an enjoyable end of the season finish.
How great has this been? Totally unexpected, at least by me. I was just hoping they would qualify for the NCAA with a reasonable seed, pre-season.
