having said that, I expect Indinia to come out blazing on Saturday…. playing with aggression and with nothing to lose. Purdue must be ready to punch them in the nose and dominate from the outset.

I do not wish to pile on or add to your misery. I really do hope that Purdue wins and does so handily. But, I do not wish you any more pain. You've been decent on these boards this past fall. If the foo was on the sh..., well, you know. Your team may have been over rated coming into 2021, but that aside, injuries have not helped you. It could have just as well of happened to us. We would not look nearly so smug if we were on our #3 quarterback.

IU Alum and die hard fan here. Don't visit this page often, but congrats on the great season. Purdue has an excellent team this year, and I will be the first to say I was surprised by it. I expected Bell to be Bell but O'Connell has turned some heads this season.

This season ended for IU when they took MSU to the wire and lost the close game. The team has no fire and they've looked like they've been ready for the season to end since that game.

I wish you guys well in your bowl game. Show out for the B1G and win whatever game you get placed in! (Looks like Vegas...Lucky)

I hope for a good game Saturday, but I highly doubt it. Would love our guys to show up and play for some pride.

Good post and you are always welcome here as far as I am concerned.I think IU will try to play their best on Saturday but even if they do it would take some strange things to happen for Purdue to lose.The Hoosiers can win if Purdue gets too many penalties or commits a lot of turnovers and IU can take advantage of it.Thanks for the compliments and better luck next season.

I'm not a gambler, but, if IU is getting 33 points, I'd take them and the points. I feel pretty confident in the Boilers chances on Saturday but I would be (pleasantly) surprised if they smash IU like that.

Betting against Purdue when they are a heavy favorite is fun. If you lose the bet that means Purdue crushed it and Purdue can still easily win and fail to cover.

Bet on Illinois and NW with Purdue -11ish for both. Probably won't touch IU this weekend but maybe the darling of college football will win me over

You know, just realized a big difference between me and 99% of the board. I am not from Indiana (Ohio) and I dont live in Indiana (Phoenix), therefore i dont talk trash to any IU people because I really dont know any. Most of my family are OSU fans and none of my neighbors or co-workers went to IU. Although my ex-wife's boyfriend she just broke up with was an IU Alumni but he wasnt a sports fan and could care less about the rivalry.

So I dont have anyone to talk trash too about the game, so I like the rivalry but it isnt as big of a deal in my life.
