I TOLD YALL LAST YEAR TKR WAS GOING TO BE GOOD:
I don't think anyone here disagreed.
No they did last year when he was next to Zach and didn’t think he was that good.I don't think anyone here disagreed.
The only thing folks worried too much about was his defense.
TKR is such a fantastic talent. I don't think he gets the attention he's earned. Part of it is because of how outstanding Braden is, stealing some of that attention. Trey is such a treat to watch, especially on the offensive end.
I remember people saying he had slow feet and didn't have good footwork. No they did last year when he was next to Zach and didn’t think he was that good.
B1G coaches have to have him near the top of their list for All-Big Ten selections. And if the Boilers go deep into the tournament, he'll be named to some All-America teams.TKR is such a fantastic talent. I don't think he gets the attention he's earned. As recently as a week and a half ago the Sleepers guys stated that there were 'a lot of bigs in the conference' who would be better than TKR playing along Braden in Purdue's system. No they did last year when he was next to Zach and didn’t think he was that good.
Not knocking them… but we have lots of posters who know more about basketball than those guys.As recently as a week and a half ago the Sleepers guys stated that there were 'a lot of bigs in the conference' who would be better than TKR playing along Braden in Purdue's system.
You can knock them all you want, I completely agree. My point was just that Trey didn't necessarily get a ton of respect coming into the season, or even now, from people who aren't Purdue backers. Not knocking them… but we have lots of posters who know more about basketball than those guys.
I think it is hard for a second guy to get that level of respect by fans of other programs when you already have an All American type on the team. Braden was in Edey’s shadow last season and now TKR is in Braden’s shadow. You can knock them all you want, I completely agree. I was one who thought the extra bulk was going to be an issue. But he's figure out how to back down the big rig and get to he left shoulder for that deadly baby hook.I remember people saying he had slow feet and didn't have good footwork.
And he’s developed that nice counter in case they sit on his left shoulder.I was one who thought the extra bulk was going to be an issue. But he's figure out how to back down the big rig and get to he left shoulder for that deadly baby hook.
And THIS is why you do not like those dudesAs recently as a week and a half ago the Sleepers guys stated that there were 'a lot of bigs in the conference' who would be better than TKR playing along Braden in Purdue's system.
Once I saw him score on Kalkbrenner in the scrimmage with ease, I knew he’d have no trouble scoring on ppl. Would like to see Broome on him again…maybe like F4 rematch 😂I was one who thought the extra bulk was going to be an issue. I would have guessed Steve Scheffler would be in that group...must be low on the APG maybe?
Yet I keep listening 🤯And THIS is why you do not like those dudes
