I was initially concerned who was going to fill that role that Lance Jones did last year, and I think the early answer is Gircarri Harris. That guy has some good handles! Colvin looked sharp too and Loyer looks like he spent some time in the weight room. Keep this group together and happy and the future looks really bright! I think Jacobsen will eventually be the guy in the middle, (apparently, he is still growing taller) but time will tell.

Going to be a fun year to root for the Boilermakers! Don't be shocked if they peak later in the year and surprise a lot of folks on the national level. Jacobsen is young, but he's for real. Colvin, Cox, and Harris are ready now! Heide needs to be more aggressive when he gets the ball. Berg, Furst & Jacobsen can combine for 15 & 10 which should be enough with our 5 talented guards and TKR.

I did notice Will Bergs screens Cox scored 7 points late in the game simply because of Berg's screens. Raleigh and Daniel are great, but they need time to develop. Berg took no prisoners on both ends of the court. Daniel was man handled by a 6'7 division 2 player and looked the part of a freshman. I read everyone saying on twitter that CJ was the greatest thing since sliced bread. I think he is great but man it's early. I think this season is Purdue's for the taking if we crown Wille the starter at the 5. At least until Daniel and Raleigh get where they are going. TKR is giving me Carl Landry flashbacks not a bad player to be compared to Carl logged a decade in the NBA then 2 years in China as the highest paid player.
