I haven’t posted here in forever, I’m going to now.

Guys, we are not a talented football team. Most notably, we are not good at all up front on either side of the ball. Both lines are really weak. There is help coming on D, but I don’t see any encouragement coming for the O-line. Brohm needs to recruit there in a big way. Secondary is another area. If you’re playing 38 you have a real problem. At least we have Grant coming.

So Brohm having this group in position for 2 straight bowls is really something. I hope he stays long enough to have a team with talent everywhere.

The 1 thing I don’t get and wish he would do is involve Knox in the passing game. I think there is easy yardage there. I don’t understand why he’s a total non-factor through the air.

My thought: full pads tomorrow for a two hour scrimmage. Need to figure out who wants to play and who wants to watch from the sideline.

To me, it was more a sign of an overmatched team, believing they're better than they really are.

Minny was THRASHED by the Illini last week. Frickin' THRASHED.

We're on the cusp of another bowl game. We were going to OWN them.

Say what you want about the boat-rower, he challenged them and had them READY.

All that, and the weather. We're simply not talented enough for that. For those that don't know, adverse weather is the great equalizer. You d@mn sure better be ready to play when the weather sucks. We weren't any of that.

Case closed.

Burn the film, challenge the Seniors that the next two games are their LEGACY, get them to own the last 2 games, and be ready to play.

This. From the first series offensively you could see they did not have it today. As frustrating as it is to watch a butt kicking, I am grateful our hopes and expectations have been raised in the Brohm era. I'm confident they will get back after it next week. As always keep the faith and Boiler Up.

All reasons to win most notably a fired defensive coordinator and nearly 50% freshman playing for MN. No consistent effort by our guys. Mental mistakes for large penalties allowing scoring drives to continue, dropped passes, poor OL performance, same for our DL. That was Hazell level football performance.
