Thoughts on BTT tournament format

I think it's interesting that the format is a double bye vs single.

Day 1 - bottom 12 teams play (top 2 bye)

Day 2 - all 8 teams remaining play

Day 3 - final 4

Day 4 - championship

I assume it is more for TV since I doubt it affects the host city all that much (can't imagine too many Nebraska fans are booked for the whole week)
