I'd expect Purdue to be somewhere in the 21 to 23 range when the polls come out today.
That will be the 30th consecutive week Purdue has been ranked, which is the 7th longest streak in the nation and the longest in the Big Ten. They will need to beat both Illinois and Penn State to continue that streak.
While being ranked has no influence on NCAA seeding, I think it is valuable as it increases the chances your highlights are shown on the major networks and your scores are shown on the front scores page of all the major sports websites. Plus, it's always nice when we are ranked and IU and MSU (F 'em) are not.
