In my view, while just about anybody is an upgrade over the corrupt Merrick Garland, I think this is very much the weakest pick by Trump so far - one that I think is a mistake.

A part of me thinks this is a shrewd move to get rid of Goetz. The majority is going to be razor thin in the House. Goetz has been a PITA every time a close vote comes up in the House. He may not be confirmed by the Senate. In addition to investigations regarding sex with young girls, he has more than a few enemies in the Senate. What do you mean no? He is being investigated for sex trafficking. The dude is a freak. He will never be confirmed. If he does I will never have any respect for the repubs ever again. Knowing about the allegations, he should have never been selected in the first place. Chump knowing this and still went on with his selection of Goetz tells me that he wants him in that roll of AG to cause some kind of havoc.

Well if the theory folks are putting out there is correct.....it looks like a GENIUS choice. (ie...Goetz choice is only for getting him out of the House for multiple reasons. And then he never makes AG, but is out of the House)

No, it's not common knowledge the report was coming out in a couple days not that it would be as bad as it sounds. Hell the evil and corrupt Garland chose not to charge him.

What's common knowledge is he did some of the things he was accused of and he's very unpopular in the house with his own party.......mostly because of the internal turmoil he created.
