This team just doesn’t have the horses. No alpha. Soft, just going through the motions. They don’t deserve the 1 seed. Even as a 2 they’ll be over seeded.
Painter needs to hit the bricks. The regular season doesn’t mean anything and he always chokes in the tourney.
The regular season isn’t meaningless. If you don’t win enough games you don’t make the tourney.

Interested in wanting to see this team play its best basketball heading into March, and I don’t think they’re doing that right now, which is a bit worrisome.
Of course, this team has had a hell of a season and it should be celebrated. Players should be proud.

If when the season started and Boilers we’re unranked and picked to finish in middle of BIG I would have been ecstatic with 25-5 and winning 25th BIG by 3 games and being #1 in country for a good part of the season. But when 4 of 5 losses came in the final 8 games it just takes away from the feeling of optimism. CMP it appears has plenty of video talking points going into the tournaments. I liked the move starting Newman and Gillis with Zach, Fletcher, and Braden. Another plus was Loyer shifting his focus from 3’s to driving and hitting mid-range shots.
