Now, now. It still might be too soon to be sure. Did you know that Raphael Davis was DPOTY 2 years ago?? He basically accounts for 2 defenders because he was so awesome, even after he played the final 95% of last season on 1 leg. Besides, look at the post-season win totals last year vs. this year.
2016: 2 wins in BTT and NCAAT
2017: 2 wins in BTT and NCAAT
I rest my case. We won't know until next week whether this year's team is truly better...
Indeed it is. But, there are a handful here who have fought tooth and nail all season proclaiming that last year's team was better - or at the very least it was a toss up - because of defense, completely ignoring the fact that we were playing 3v5 on the offensive side of the ball most of the time.
