A Race to see if our fabulously talented guard could have his mental game catch up to his fabulous physical talents in time to lead us to a final four. Also a race to see if our 7’4” mountain of a Center could cut down on turnovers and play enough defense to be more an asset than a liability. In some games they were, but in far too many, including the ones that counted most, they were not. They are both great people and players who will get there. But they haven’t yet.
