I was a senior in high school. A buddy and I drove from FW to WL for the Purdue v. Michigan game. Boilers fell 63-62 that night, but my first Mackey experience was pretty awesome.

It was a fun year. Great memories of sophomore Jaraan Cornell and SB Clay High School beating Bryce Drew and Valpo in an exciting OT game for the state championship. THE state championship back in those days.

Watched that Kansas game with my 4 sons. One was too young to know what was going on, but the others were big fans. Left for a spring break vacation the next week.
