Wish we could get a little bit more locker room speeches/celebrations but probably too many vulgarities being thrown around haha. Quality of these are top notch.
Don’t think vulgarities are the problem, they usually just edit it out I’ve noticed in these. Also, they put the crowd chanting “F—k Zach Edey” in this video, so…
Yeah they usually edit out the painter F bombs as well. Idk then. Just want more behind the scenes stuff to be included. Was really suprised there was no locker room stuff after the game from such a huge win in the video.
Yeah, I can't get enough huddle intensity or seeing the happiness in the players
Favorite part is around 3:26 when they go to the huddle. Painter is calm and motioning them to focus on him.
Listen (quiet calming voice)...and then the volume increases as he stresses "execution"
I also like when we do get a little bit of halftime locker room speech, that we see some insight on painter *GASP* telling the team how they’re going to ….ADJUST to the defense of Illinois. Can you believe it ?! Painter and staff actually making in game adjustments?! I have been told numerous times on here that he NEVER makes adjustments because he’s too stubborn.
Love the Robbie quote coming out of the half “Illinois has decided to double the post and Purdue is making them pay for it”.
People that say that are looking for some huge adjustment all can see, not a tweak to a system he runs. Some may want a pressing team that wasn't recruited for that. Everybody has an idea of what they want to see. Everybody has an idea of what they think should happen due to numbers. There is no shortage of ideas. Everybody gets an idea from different sources. People look at the same player and see different things...look at the same game and see different things. Every single coach makes adjustments and many times in a game. It just isn't the adjustment some want.
Kudos to the Marketing / Communications team for producing these videos. I agree, it would be neat to see more pre-game, bus ride, locker room, huddles, and post-game celebrations. I really enjoy the combination of audio from radio and television. Just a nice production. Keep up the good work!!
