Anybody following the PGA Tour and this Saudi backed golf league? The PGA Tour denied waivers yesterday for current members to play in the 1st Saudi event in early June. I wonder if it’s going to setup some court battles similar to what we are going to be seeing with the NCAA? I will admit I don’t fully understand all the laws around anti-trust but it seems to me the courts are eventually going to get way too involved in sports. In my opinion people choose to be members of these organization and I think these organizations should be able to dictate the terms of membership.
