I agree that he should have attacked the Swift Boat Attacks sooner. The easiest way to do that would have been here is my DD214, it is official military record.

Sure there is bad press-I really think it would have depended on what show or who he let do the interview. I mean, Obama did get some favorable reviews with how he dealt with O'Reilly. I do gorget how much Kerry lost by but I remember it being close. I have doubts about how many he would have flipped or got from Fox but at the same time in a national election I think candidates have to hit up Fox, CNN, and all the main stations.
