What frightens me the most is that 'house of horror' Bankers Life Fieldhouse.......

Don't we mostly lose when we play in it?

Depends on what event and what time period. We suck in the Crossroads Classic but the Big Ten Tournament has been a mixed bag with us winning it in Indy in 2009 and I think we did ok in the Wooden Tradition thing we used to play there.

I'll bite. Why is it our "house of horrors"?

Pick any year you want, TC...

There's one total success (2009) to point to for the B1G Tourney, so that gives hope and shows that's it's not "impossible" to win each game. They can do it.

Not sure how much "history" really matters outside of when players currently playing have played. While we have not done well in the Crossroads Classic, we also had bad teams half of the years the event has taken place.

I think the bigger question in general is how good this team will be away from Mackey, no matter what arena they are playing in.

We've been a mixed bag away from home.

If the same team shows up that played against Wisky on Sunday we'll be fine especially if they sustain the momentum for 3 days.

Your last line can be applied to many schools I think.

How do we guard Uthoff? Biggie, 1 on 1, all day? Or do we double on him on the drive, because there is absolutely NO WAY Biggie is guarding Uthoff. It was apparent in the first 2 appearances that he just can't man him up.

So do we pull Biggie, and run a smaller lineup with VE on Uthoff and either KS (seems doubtful seeing his latest PT) or Mathias on the 2 guard, since Davis will take responsibility for Jok?

No problem. Bring in Taylor at the first timeout. Have him Woodbury Uthoff getting both eyes twice. Game over for Uthoff!!!

Well, this matchup isn't going to be in the B1G Tournament, anyway. There's been a trend of Coach McCaffery Iowa teams having end-of-season collapses the past three of four seasons. I wonder what all of the factors are leading to that. Time to get revenge on Illinois!
