I really feel like this is the year.... unexpectedly.... happily... these guys just seem to have that unmeasurable “something” that wills them to wins.

Yes, this team has a different feel to it. They battle all the way. Heart and lots of it.
I mean there’s a reason I saw at least three analysts pick Purdue into the Final Four before the tournament began. This team has something!
Lots of heart...…..and a damn good coach! A combo that can be more lethal than lots of talent. But PU has that too!!!!!!! BTFU!
Yep. I think the country is going to start recognizing what a great coach Purdue has.
Even Painter seems different. Joking at halftime with the reporter about not getting cheap foul calls. He seems much more relaxed.
On top of that, they beat three high quality, high-class, and well-coached teams to get here. Most difficult path to the E8 thus far in my opinion.
The team that was assembled are all gym rats. But the change from last year to this team combined that with ”free spirit”. Just look at the start of the tip and they were talking about a bad toe and Tennessee all looked like their life depended on this game. They immediately did a close up on Edwards and he’s laughing like someone from the crowd told a fart joke. Ear to ear laughing. Joy. At ease. Haarms is like that too. Somehow Painter embraced that too. Great coaches find a way to let teams personalities shine. Coach is doing that this year.
So proud of this team and let's just win the next one.
