We had a discussion about THE RULE of targeting. Some thought it occurred, others didn't.
The MSU football team won. You didn't. Your team did.

Don't get me wrong - there has never been a call I liked that went against Purdue.
It could have gone the other way had the sides been switched. ...and yes, home teams tend to get the benefit of officiating (moreso in basketball than football in my experience). Regardless, I would rather we got rid of the 'targeting' penalty altogether and let people play football. Too many judgement calls are required of officials.Their defensive backs were also getting away with a lot of play that is often called pass interference. I am hesitant to complain about that, however, since I think that's how the game should *always* be called.
Bottom line, our offense has to be able to produce more than 13 points to beat anyone.
How many times has Purdon’t beat MSU the last 7 times they’ve played?
Hint: The same amount of victories that Purdon’t achieved today....ZERO
