One of my good friends is a Utah alum and a super fan of their football program. He is absolutely devastated right now, and I can't help but feeling sympathy because I know that but for a historical accident of one of our university administrators coming up with an idea to schedule games yearly with nearby schools over 100 years ago, we would likely be in their position right now.
If you are Utah or Arizona/Arizona State or one of those other middle or lower tier PAC-12 programs, how do you recover from this?
And not to sound like a boomer but remember when conference games and being in a conference actually mattered? What the hell is happening to our sport?
