Tennessee Fans

I read this and know anything that comes to mind is every time I watch the replay I watch other tight end begins to pull the running back in while he’s on his way down to the ground. I get why people think that Tennessee got jibbed, they listen to what one or two people in the media say and they run with it. That’s why marketing works.

It doesn’t change the fact that it was pretty blatant. One Tennessee fan said to me “they never called that, moron”. They never call it because it’s not that blatant usually

Right after the play, I thought it was a TD. After learning the current rules, I realized it was the correct call. Please read the rule book.
It is lost on almost all of sports nation thst there are rules…like sooo many other things ‘the masses believe in’… mostly just belief thru marketing

Now you guys see what UK and other SEC fanbases have to put up with. Yes I will own the fact that the Vols have essentially owned us in FB, but what I’m seeing on this board is typical for how they are during the season. They are the worst and I would argue they’re the least-liked fan base in the conference

I generally root for the SEC school during bowl season, except when UT is playing.

Once again, congratulations.
My sympathies. They are bad. They may the IU fan base look mature!

lol. We were picked by most magazines to finish 6th in the SEC East just ahead of Vanderbilt. Heupel only has 70 players on the entire roster, and we lost a ton of talent in the portal. Also, this was Heupel’s first year and Brauns’ 4th or 5th year. Jeff Braun is a good coach, but his roster was far more stable and deeper.

Guessing you’re trying to be funny calling him Braun instead of Brohm? Good one I guess?

Our 3rd or 4th best receiver absolutely roasted you guys on 2 bad knees and was on crutches after the game. Sucks to suck.

What "experts" think about the play is irrelevant. They obviously don't know the rules. The replay is clear that the other TN player was pulling the downed runner, freeing his arm that then reached out. The pull is illegal so how can the theoretical TD be considered legal as it flowed from an illegal act? The claim makes no sense.

As for the missed holding on the WR, it was missed. But the TN CBs were holding on almost every play. Some were called but many were not. You live with what was called. But to complain about one missed call while ignoring many other similar (except going the other way) is ridiculous.

You lost talent due to the ramifications of NCAA violations, so the lower roster numbers didn't happen TO tennessee, it happened BECAUSE of tennessee. Stop whining already.

Could not agree more with you. What I think is even more hilarious is sure that one play they are bitching about at the goal line could’ve change the outcome, may be. But if they had called Holding on all the other Holding no-calls the defensive backs date against our receivers, the outcome would’ve already been decided by that point… Typically teams that are accustomed to getting away with a massive amount of illegal plays seem to feel obligated to always get the calls going there way
