Another argument that always bugs me because it's spot on. When they didn't do anything, it's wrong. When they did something, it was wrong.

The other one is the present whining about the sit-in. Yeah, I thought it was pretty ridiculous, but certainly no more so than shutting down the entire government to get at least a little bit of your way when you don't actually have any authority.

The so-called supermajority that you, and others on here, keep blaming President Obama for not doing anything "meaningful" is factually wrong, especially given the obstructive pledge your party's members took on the night of Obama's first innauguration. Oh, do you mean like Obamacare, which was rammed down our throats and was coated with lies, so it would go down easier? Yeah, in reality, the Dems didn't force through any Gun Control legislation, because they knew there would be a backlash, when it became obvious the new laws would have been just as effective as all the others they've pushed through in the past. Obama is taking care of immigration reform on his own, by merely not enforcing the laws. It's pretty obvious to anyone paying attention.

I always read articles in the Huffington Post, because I know they are always objective and there is absolutely no Liberal bias. smh

Hardly. The point is, that when the Dems want something done, they have no qualms about shoving things down our throats, since they know the media will cover for them. If they were really that concerned about firing that "magic" gun control bullet, they would have done it, but they realized it would NOT have made any difference in the number of gun deaths in the country, since the people who have ignored the previous gun laws would continue to do so. Why spend political capital on a losing issue, when you can continue to use it to raise funds for your campaigns (Congressional sit-in is a prime example)?
