Numbers 2, 5, 8, 9, 10, 12 and 13 lose. If we beat Minnesota where is Purdue ranked?

Handle Minny at home by 10+ points and then my guess will be that we come in at #10 in the polls.

UK (#8) did not lose this week. With a win I expect Purdue to pass UNC, UVA, and Butler, maybe Creighton. 11 or 12.

First have to win tomorrow. Maybe 12 as UVA went on road beat Louisville, they won't drop hardly at all. Should leapfrog NC, Butler at least.

I doubt we pass VA. They beat Louisville and lost to a ranked team so they should even out and stay put. I would guess 12 for the Boilers. I think Purdue gets into the top ten before February as long as they handle their business.

IMO: It's too early for poll watching. Just worry about Minnesota. After that, just worry about Ohio State.

The Golden Rodents will be the third or fourth best team we've seen so far this year. Value City Arena has never been a picnic for Purdue.

Nothing comes easy during the B1G season.

I agree. This week ranking would only matter if a recruit is ready to decide on a school and it gives the coaches a selling point.

I'm pretty sure almost everybody realizes it's really too early regarding importance of rankings. Still absolutely nothing wrong with being amused where we end up week after week and possibly shooting up the ladder. Not as if we are Kanas or Duke in top 10 year after year. I for one am excited to get ranked top 10 early as possible. Key is staying there.

What I've noticed in watching a lot of games this week is that there's very few teams definitely better than Purdue. I think Purdue would play better against both Nova and Louisville (with the Cardinals being a tougher matchup).

I still think the Boilers are probably 8 to 15, but they seem good enough to be able to beat anyone on their best day. That's pretty exciting
