My guess, just an end of the year meeting, letting the players know that they will have a coach in place soon.
Wouldn't be surprised if the new HC is introduced and a conference is called immediately following to name the new coach. As the saying on the basketball board goes: we'll know more tomorrow
We'll know more tomorrow was a metaphor phrase that never served Purdue well at all. I do not know the basketball and/or football full names, but it usually meant that player "X" was gone after academic reviews. One player for sure was Booker in basketball and the other was a very good 6'9" T.E. that was playing well till he flunked off the team.
Kyle Ingram was never a TE. He was a very tall flanker at best.
The saying comes from Chris Booker being suspended and we were told, as fans, that we will know more tomorrow. It ended up being Booker being flunked by a prof who had a supposed agenda against Keady.
So now that search firm did leg work is it down to Bobinski alone or him and the BOT sitting in a room locking down the details?

There could be two announcements today. One to the team and then another immediately afterwards to the public.....IF a HC will be announced today. I don't think that MB2 will mention any names to the players; given social media, the players would leak it to the world before the team meeting is over.
My gut feeling is that we will know within a week. But don't be surprised if we know by dinner time today.

As others have said, "We'll know more tomorrow" though I wouldn't hold my breath.
Why does Purdue have to be laughing stock of the Big Ten even with coaching announcement?
Settle down boss. I dont see one source commenting on timing. Only inappropriately anxious fans. Any coach worth a shit is going to wait to see what his options are. Purdue isnt going to be a top choice for some coaches, but we may be one of the only P5 schools available. If there is nothing by next sunday, then its time to worry.
Spack is about the only person who would have sign up by now.
