a nice addition to the team, but he wasn't a necessary addition. I think we got all caught up in the recruiting battle and we convinced ourselves we had to have him. I really think we're fine at the 4, with Edwards and Smotherman.
Having AJH come back is more important. Getting a 5th year PG is more important. Getting Biggie was as much about feeding our egos (WOW, we got a 5 star), as it was about making our team better.
Watching Biggie play, I was concerned about him being a defensive liability. He does NOT have very quick feet and most of the 4's in the BIG will blow by him. I think he's in for a rude awakening, when Izzo tells him, that he'll be playing the 5.
Oh well, we tried and missed. Time to move on and enjoy next season. We're in good shape for the next few years at least.
