Surprised the Dems infomercial had such a low viewership

I don't know if they are going to come up with enough evidence to directly link Trump to the planning for January 6, but I do believe part of the role of the committee is to debunk all of the election fraud baloney.

For god sakes they have already laid out that Bill Barr, the White House Council, Pence, Trump's campaign lawyer, Mark Meadows, 60 courts, Trump's campaign analytics guy, state and local republican officials and Ivanka thought it was BS. Some of the testimony was on tape, some from court records, some from sworn testimony and some of it comes from text or emails. I'm sure we're going to here it from many more top officials. What else does it take?

Trump lost. It looks like only a small group of people within Trump's internal circle believed he didn't. A functioning democracy cannot continue if the loosing candidates continue to sow doubt into the results of elections. The fact that Trump continues perpetuating "the big lie" is just as much of a problem as what happened on January 6 IMO.

My hope is that the hearings help nudge some republicans to accept the results of the election and come up with a different candidate in 2024. I hope the Dems do the same and we can get this whole mess behind us and move forward as a country..

HRC is still telling anyone, who will listen, that Trump stole the 2016 election from her. Then she launched the Great Russian Collusion LIE and there was a Dem Conspiracy to undermine Trump's Presidency. I guess we're supposed to forget about that, as well.

This hearing is intended to serve the same purpose as the two impeachments. The Dems will sling mud at Trump and make him seem too evil to be elected again. They'll try to charge him with a crime and have the trial in DC, so they can guarantee a conviction. If they succeed, Trump will have a felony and can't run. If he's found innocent, he will be so damaged, that he couldn't get elected. It's all about killing Trump politically and firing up the Dem base to vote, so they don't get slaughtered in the midterms.

I'm starting to wonder how many Dems are having buyer's remorse for having put Brandon and his Gang of Incompetents into the WH? I can't see anyone with a working brain feeling good about Biden's performance so far. He's pretty much F'ed up everything he's touched.

She may have been upset with the Comey announcement or she may have believed there was Russian influence on behalf of Trump but I never heard her or anyone else say she should be inaugurated as POTUS. If Trumps impeachment trials would have convicted him, Pence would have been president. Totally different scenario.

I don't get the infatuation with Trump. I get the commitment to a politically ideology but not to a person. I voted for Biden and I don't blame him for all the ills of the world, but I don't want him to run again. We need fresh blood on both sides of the aisle.

She had no basis for saying the election was stolen, but she wanted to cast that aura of corruption on Trump. She wrote a book about it and spent years whining about it. She may have made the concession call, but she NEVER accepted the fact that she lost to Trump and she and her associates undermined him from the day he was elected to the present.

I thought his policies were great and I liked the idea of an outsider in the WH, but I got tired of the constant stream of superlatives and his penchant for getting triggered by Twitter attacks and then punching down to justify himself.

I don't want him to run again, since he is a divisive force in the country. The Dems did a masterful job of character assassination on him, from the day he got the nomination to the present. Unfortunately, he was his own worst enemy, due to his need to fight, when he felt slighted. He never figured out that if you ignore the noise, it will eventually die down.

BTW, Why would HRC call anyone, since everyone knows, that if cheating occurs in an election, it's invariably a Dem doing it? There is a LONG history of Dem cheating in elections. I beg to differ. Trump annoyed me, but Biden is by far a much bigger embarrassment, than Trump could ever be.

Mook said that HRC approved the proliferation of the Russian Collusion scam. He didn't say it was her idea, but she was actively involved as the Great Lie rolled out. She also referred to it during the campaign and many times after the election, in an effort to tarnish Trump.

You can spin it and try to sanitize it as much as possible, but HRC is vicious and she takes no prisoners. This article understates HRC's desire to inflict as much damage on Trump as possible.

Yep, I know all about Chicago politics. And NW Indiana politics for that matter. How do you think the Democrats lost to Nixon in 1968 with all that democratic infighting during the Democratic convention. Mayor Daley yelling at the democratic speaker he didn't agree with. Plus the riots outside on the streets of Chicago. Repubs aren't far from rebuke either around here either. People have died fooling around with these politicians in these 2 areas.
