StubHub scammer on Philly games?

My buddy and I bought tickets on StubHub for both sessions (as 1 package), but then sold the Sunday tickets after the Purdue loss. Now (yes, over a week later), StubHub is trying to gouge my buddy, saying that the buyer said the tickets had already been scanned. We definitely didn't go to the Sunday game, though it's possible maybe the original seller did, or that the buyer is just trying to scam us. Has anyone else run into this?
