I think it's just fascinating to watch recruiting unfold (more so now that we're on the winning end of some of it).
Look at Xavier Simpson. He isn't going to go to either of his, arguably, top 2 schools because he waited too long. Now if MSU offers, it's a moot point because they were the favorites all along.
Worst case scenario, IMHKO, is that he ends up in Bloomington because they're his closest high major option left. Hopefully that doesn't happen.
Honestly, if I were him, I'd strongly consider waiting until the spring to sign, assuming that he's not enamored with any of his offers. There always seems to be a feeding frenzy in the spring.
