Also, seems pretty clear after three days that Austin Appleby is showing the most command of the quarterbacks. He's been pretty accurate, too. Blough was OK today with the 1s, but would like to see him get more reps with them to get more "body of work," as the coaches say. For the second consecutive day, though, Shoop called him out for not having control of the offense and directing players during a no-huddle period of practice that didn't have a defense. That's not going to help him, especially when Appleby and Etling haven't seem to have issues.
