Awesome....like that in our coach. Nice. Surely many others surely do this too?? Love him or even the few that hate him ....have to at least respect him and how he is looked at in his industry.

Painter is a coach committed to the betterment of his players both on and off the court, That cannot be disputed! He is also a basketball junkie! Committed to the game and college basketball. He’s well respected within the coaching ranks by most accounts. Yah I occasionally question his decisions and calls and wish we had more post season success in advancing in the tournament but I respect his commitment to his players, university and the game of basketball! All in all I believe he’s a good coach and represents Purdue University in a Positive light. BTFU 💛🖤🏀

ALL that is why some of us give him more rein that many would like. Not perfect, but he does a fine job and does it the right way.
